Case Study: The Strawberry Society Brand Identity by LLP

Introduction

Every great brand begins with a story, and the best design work turns that story into a visual language. At LLP, we specialize in crafting identities that feel both intentional and elevated. One of our most exciting projects to date is our graphic design case study for The Strawberry Society—a women’s networking collective founded in Jacksonville Beach.

This brand identity project showcases how strategic design can transform a passion-driven community into a luxury-inspired brand that resonates with its audience.

About The Strawberry Society

The Strawberry Society was founded in 2021 by Haley Davis and Yazi Davis, two Jacksonville Beach locals and multi-passionate entrepreneurs. Both women are deeply rooted in Northeast Florida’s creative and business communities, with careers spanning real estate, branding, photography, and hospitality.

Their vision was clear: create a curated women’s networking group that celebrates female entrepreneurship while blending chic, editorial styling with authentic connection. By working with LLP on this branding case study, they were able to translate that vision into a cohesive brand identity system that feels bold, stylish, and relationship-centered.

Project Goals & Challenges

For this graphic design case study, LLP identified a few key goals:

  • Build a flexible brand identity that works across digital, print, and event collateral

  • Develop a logo system adaptable for social media, embossing, and merchandise

  • Create an editorial look that reflects the founders’ passion for luxury design and female entrepreneurship

  • Ensure every asset—from stationery to social templates—expressed the unique personality of The Strawberry Society

Challenges included balancing playfulness with professionalism and ensuring the design translated seamlessly across tactile applications like embossing and event gift bags.

Design Solutions & Visual Strategy

Logo & Brand Marks

The core of this branding case study was the logo system. LLP designed a primary logo, secondary marks, and an emboss-ready version—ensuring the brand could remain recognizable whether on digital screens, foil-stamped invitations, or social media icons.

Typography & Color Palette

For the brand identity project, the typography was chosen to be elegant yet approachable, mirroring the founders’ editorial vision. The color palette leaned into warm neutrals and refined accents, aligning with the luxury-forward but community-focused ethos.

Stationery & Print Collateral

From business cards to letterheads, LLP developed print-ready brand collateral that extends the identity into physical touchpoints. This part of the graphic design case study highlights the importance of creating tactile experiences that reinforce brand recognition.

Embossing & Event Materials

Because The Strawberry Society hosts high-end networking dinners and curated events, LLP produced embossing-ready marks and textured applications. This ensures the brand not only looks good online but also delivers a polished, luxury brand experience in-person.

Results & Impact

The outcome of this branding case study is a cohesive, versatile brand identity that authentically reflects The Strawberry Society’s mission.

  • Consistency across media: From social graphics to embossed menus, the brand now feels unified

  • Elevated positioning: The design aligns with luxury lifestyle aesthetics, appealing to millennial and Gen Z entrepreneurs

  • Founder-driven identity: The visuals clearly tie back to Haley and Yazi’s story as female entrepreneurs in Jacksonville Beach, giving the brand authenticity and resonance

Key Takeaways for Brand & Design Projects

This case study provides lessons for anyone considering a brand refresh:

  1. Build from the inside out. The strongest brand identities start with a founder’s story and values.

  2. Think across platforms. A flexible logo system ensures adaptability from digital to print.

  3. Luxury is in the details. Embossing, textures, and thoughtful applications elevate your brand beyond the basics.

  4. Editorial design resonates. Using typography and color palettes with an editorial edge gives your brand timeless appeal.
